Cherwell Runners and Joggers Grand Prix Events 2022/23

Take part in a range of races throughout the calendar year

We have organised a Parkrun take over on 9th April to help promote our club and our Hornton 6 race.

We would greatly appreciate any help on the day for marshals/helpers for the park run.

It is one that is on our Grand Prix and so anybody that marshals will receive an automatic 50 points.

We need around 15-17 ish helpers on the day for a complete Parkrun take over. I will also bring cake of course!

You would need to register with Parkrun which is free and easy. www.parkrun.org.uk

Any family members are also encouraged to help if they can so you can run. Thank you all in advance. Let me know if you have any questions.

Whether you’re a newbie or a more seasoned athlete looking for a personal best, The Shakespeare Marathon and Half Marathon offer runners much more than a great course, which is superbly marshalled and brilliantly organised. For further details please visit www.shakespearemarathon.org.uk

Never run at Draycote Water before? It’s Warwickshire’s best kept secret for road runners, offering stunning reservoir and countryside views. Running alongside the water, using dam wall pathways and a perimeter service road, you’ll find mesmerising views of nature trails, wildlife, and boats on the water as you notch up the kilometres.

The Leamington Spa half marathon that was voted the 2nd best half marathon in the UK in 2019, takes in the beautiful town and surroundings of one of Warwickshire’s finest spa towns, Royal Leamington Spa. Used by many as a course to achieve a PB or for those looking to try their running feet at their first half marathon, the Leamington Spa Half Marathon is a UKA measured traffic free road race.
