Club Runs

Cherwell Runners and Joggers have two club runs a week

Tuesdays 7pm – Weekly Club Night
Woodgreen Leisure Centre

 An opportunity for our captains to share club news and successes before we set off on different routes tailored to suit everyone’s pace and distance.

Thursdays 7pm – Hills Session
Woodgreen Leisure Centre

An inclusive session designed to build stamina running uphill. We run a course of hills all within a short distance of one another. You run the hill as fast as you can for your ability. Everyone meets at the top to recover before a gentle recovery jog to the next hill, and so on. The total distance is approx. 6 miles. Don’t be daunted by the word ‘hill’. We promise this is a fun session that gives you a great sense of achievement.

The sessions are run by qualified UK Athletics Run Leaders. You are welcome to attend a couple of trial sessions before you sign up to the club.
