About Cherwell Runners & Joggers
Founded in 1990 by a group of Banbury runners.
Cherwell Runners & Joggers was formed in 1990 by a group of 8 local runners, some of whom still play an active role in the club today. Their aim was simple: to create a running club that was serious about running but also inclusive and with the emphasis on having fun. Over the years CRJ have welcomed everyone from athletes who are looking to improve their marathon times to runners who are interested in achieving the Couch to 5K. CRJ now boasts over 100 members and host an annual 6 mile race attracting runners from far and wide.
